Alan has been active as an organiser and resident on the Folk Music scene in Essex, Hertfordshire and London for many years, is resident and MC at Blackmore and (less frequently) Hertford Folk Clubs and a frequent participant at sessions and singarounds in and around Essex and Hertfordshire.
